Hi , i have a blackberry torch 9800 and i think the phone is great except lately when im charging my phone and i get a call to answer it starts to heat up and it stops charging so what i usually have to do is restart my phone and let it cool down so i can actually charge it. Can someone tell me if this is just a software issue waiting for an update or is my torch just messed up?????

when the battery gets hot, it will stop charging. its a battery safety feature, not a phone feature.
Lithium batteries catch fire or explode if over heated.
I would suggest charging at night while you sleep and maybe get a charge dock to put it into.
Also a charger with less ma rating (like 500 ma) can slow the charge down (creating less heat too) and you can talk while it charges.
