Battery problem


i have issues with my battery, i purchased a blackberry phone, model: 9790 bold a few months ago, however, my battery does last a day which I believe is faulty. Never had a battery running so low so fast with a blackberry.


The phone was purchased in Bangalore, India. Where can I change the battery and is there an after sales service in the city where they could replace the battery for a new one?

Believe it or not, many times a faulty battery is actually a software issue and not the battery itself that's faulty.  I recommend you reload your phone's OS to see if that corrects the problem.  To do this, plug your phone in to your PC and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Once your phone has connected, click Device at the top of the software then Restore.  Pick the most recent backup file and load it.  You can also load a newer version of OS if one is available, however many times just reloading the current one resolves the issue.
