Battery question

Does the Torch 9800 battery have a memory?  In other words, is it better to allow the battery to deplete completely before recharging, or does it not matter at what stage the battery is recharged or how often.

Re: Battery question

Battery technology has evolved well beyond the memory problems of old...those pretty much vanished with NiMh batteries. Newer LithiumIon and LithiumPolymer batteries do not suffer the same problem.

But, they have a different problem...if allowed to fully deplete, they can actually be damaged, rendering them less useful and even useless. It is therefore never advised to let these batteries fully deplete.

Good luck!
