Battery will not charge?

Hello everyone.

I have a BlackBerry Curve 8520.

I am trying to charge my phone (right now) and the battery just will not charge. My screen shows the icon with the drained battery with a bolt of electricity going through it. I have tried removing the battery from the back and reinserting, no fix. I know my charger is not broke.

Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Battery will not charge?

Hello

A battery has life span of 2.5 years at most, best to replace it or can damage cpu board. If this is not the case then rèmove the battery and insert charger now replace battery and leave to charge. You mau have a case of serious battery drain.

Re: Battery will not charge?

Remove battery , plug the charger in then reinsert battery and leave for 6 to8 hours.
