I change frm bb 8520 to bold 9700,I am having problem in my application world contacting I'd server.this got me frustrated for the past 2days.dnt knw wot to do

Help!!! This seems to be a multi-faceted problem. It started when I could not access the Twitter and Facebook apps on my Curve 9300. So I deleted them. When I tried to re-install I got a message saying "There is an issue with current session: Error ID 30702.

 

I saw on the forum to go into the account and do something with payment options. But I cannot get into my account because it is not accepting my Username, which is my ID. But when I went on-line, the user name is fine.  I also had gotten a message through this process that said I was not connected to the network. I have no idea what is going on.

 

Can someone please tell me how to fix this.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

 

Unfortunately, the only clear and complete error message you provided was the 30702...so that's all I can research to reference for you:

  • KB28212 "Unable to login to your BlackBerry ID account" or "Unable to update your BlackBerry ID account information" error occurs on a BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry 7

You are, of course, free to search those public KBs for the other error messages you are receiving...as well as search these forums...I am pretty sure that there are many threads on those exact issues, some of which may well have solutions already posted that might work for you.

Hi There...

 

Jus bought a new BB 9790 but I cant seem to download Blackberry App World. I keep getting a error mesg

 "MIdlet-attribute is missing".

 

I have deleted the app and reinstalled and tried booting and rebooting, jus unable to do so and am frustrated.

Could someone please help me fix this issue.

My App World ,Facebook and Yahoo Messenger applications work only when connected to a wi-fi even if I have data services on (it works on websites). I called my provider (Vodafone) as the error which occurs is sth like "the data package does not support this, contact your data service provider", but they said there is no error from their part. 

I tried the solutions presented previously for similar issues-like restarting, getting the battery out, uninstalling and reinstalling these apps but nothing seems to work. Help!

Do you have THE BlackBerry Data Plan from your mobile provider? You must, to use these services over the mobile network.

Yes, I have a data plan for blackberry , I purchased it at the time i bought my phone and I pay for it monthly.

Ok.

 

Try this, while not connected to Wifi and with your data services on:

 

1) Register HRT: (OS5) Home Screen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Scroll to any line entry and > press the Menu key > and then click Register Now. If you have an OS 6 or OS 7 device, Look at Options > Device > Advanced > Host Routing Table, etc.

2) Resend Service Books: Article ID: KB02830 How to send the service books for a BlackBerry Internet Service account. http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830

3) Then, with the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
