Re: BlackBerry App World version 4.0.0.063

Just found the solution and thsi is working.....

BlackBerry App World was updated to 4.0.0.63 on a BlackBerry 6 smartphone with older BlackBerry Device Software.

On BlackBerry OS versions prior to 6.0.0.706 and the AppWorld Icon is not visible, please download and install the BlackBerry AppWorld 4.0.0.55.

  1. Open the BlackBerry Browser on the BlackBerry smartphone.
  2. After download, please restart your BlackBerry smartphone when prompted.
  3. Verify that BlackBerry App World is located on the home screen.

Re: BlackBerry App World version 4.0.0.063

This update fixed the issue I was having with 4.0.0.63 where I was getting an error on restart "uncaught exception no application instance".

Captain, BlackBerry hasn't been silent on this issue. They've posted a knowledge base article with solutions over two weeks ago.
