I am trying to decide on a new BlackBerry. I have been looking at the Bold 9930/9900. I know that they are SUPPOSED to be the exact same phone, just with different carriers - Verizon/Sprint (9930) and AT&T/T-Mobile (9900).
But I have seen some sample pictures taken with the cameras from each phone on a phone review website (phonearena) and from what I can see, there appears to be a noticeable difference in picture quality - in favor of the 9930.
Also, on another website, I saw detailed specs for each phone and one says DIGITAL image stabilization and the other says OPTICAL image stabilization.
Has anyone tried both phones? Is there a difference in the cameras of the 9930 and the 9900? If so, how big of a difference?

Yep. I know all the specs are the same except that the verizon phone has CDMA.
But, at that same website, in the reviews, there are sample pictures taken with each phone. I know that the camera specs are identical, but from my perspective, there seems to be a noticeable difference in the quality of the pictures.
Look at this from the Bold 9900:
And then this from the Bold 9930:
And the difference in quality appears consistent in the medium and low light samples as well. So is there a difference in the quality of the cameras between the 9930 and the 9900? Or can the quality difference be attributed to human error?
