I bought a new BlackBerry Bold 9700.
I'm so happy for it but i've got a problem.
I cannot enter websites via wi-fi. I can connect the wi-fi but i'cant enter websites.
Sometimes it's working and enter websites.
I open BB Browser and one single-sided row blinking at the right top corner of the screen.
When i try enter website via browser it says to me like "server not found".
And i've installed facebook and twitter application to my phone. In the same way it's working sometimes.
I searched this subject but i could'nt find anything about that.
I tried my phone with other modems. It's same.
Please inform me as soon as possible..

From your homescreen go to Manage Conections and make sure your Data Services are set to On. Next, make sure you have a proper BlackBerry data plan with your carrier. Even when surfing with Wi-Fi, your SIM card has to have a proper BlackBerry data plan in order to use Wi-Fi.
Let us know if that helps you.

As it is my understanding that using WiFi, it is doesn't related to BlackBerry Data Plan, if you have BlackBerry Services BIS that's fine if not that's also fine because without it, you can use WIFI.
For example, I was using the Wi-Fi without having the Data plan, and that was working excellent.
Make hard reset and after that you may get rid of this problem.

As this issue is becoming critical and instead of wiped, you need to make hard reset.
Just let me know which windows you are using in your PC, then I will send you the setting to make your phone hard reset.
