BlackBerry Curve 9380 Battery runs out stupidly fast?

So i got my blackberry like 2-3 weeks ago and it was fine for like 3 days? Now its just stupid. It runs out of battery when im not even using it, i just have it sitting there and the entire battery is gone in about 4 hours, i have to charge it about twice a day, 3-4 times if im actually using it, I checked to see if anything was running and there isn't anything, I deleted pretty much every app i have and reset the phone back to the factory settings, but still its the same, does anyone know how to fix this or what causes it without suggesting I buy a new battery?

You likely still have apps running in the background, or an active web browser page.

Here are some good battery conservation and charging tips, please read and you'll see that many of them will apply to you.

Re: BlackBerry Curve 9380 Battery runs out stupidly fast?

It  could be a bad battery.

Take it out and lay it flat on a table.

Try to spin it. Does it spin easily?

If it does, that means it has a slight bulge and is bad.
