Recently my Blackberry Bold 9000 has been shutting off randomly and rebooting. I haven't updated the software before so I wanted to try and see if this would help the problem. I'm on Rogers Wireless. I downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Software on my Macbook Pro with OS Lion. I plugged my phone into my laptop and it started to back up and update my phone. It backed up my files and then started to load the new operating system. After about getting 75% into the download of the OS a box popped up and said BlackBerry® Desktop Software failed to connect to your BlackBerry® device. Please reconnect your device and try again. However I didn't unplug my device. Thanks for the help!
