Looks like issue is with RIM.

I am with TELUS as well.

 

Issues sending or recieving BBM, and when sending there is only a check mark, no D or R.

 

All the sites confirm RIM is experiencing issues they cant yet resolve.

Me and my Friend are like this too. Some we can send, others we can recieve, but neither end can contact the other.

 

Facebook apps, email e.t.c. seem fine, but it's just the BBM service we're are having problems with.

 

My BB and my friends are Curve 8520s, we based in Europe, Manchester and the time period for us has been since about Wednesday last week (21st september 2011)

 

I really hope a RIM admin on these forums takes a look and gives us an explanation or if anyone else can. I don't know if it is my phone or the BBM servers. I have today (25th september) performed a hard reset and it seems to be sending now (I'm getting ticks next to the message) but my friend still isn't recieving them (I have advised him to do the same, have to wait for him to do so)
