BlackBerry OS 7.1 Devices

[ Edited ]

When's the next update to fix the major issues with the browser (crashing, bad color management, tabs closing from memory issue), text messaging (issues scrolling through long messages), and more for the 9350?

I don't care about BB 10 (especially buying another new device when I just bought one to get it) and I want to see how RIM is going to take care of the people that just recently bought a new OS 7 device. If no update is coming, then I'm done with BlackBerry.

So again, when is the next update coming with fixes.

Re: BlackBerry OS 7.1 Devices

This is a user-to-user community support forum. We are not RIM employees, but volunteers who enjoy assisting other users. RIM personnel rarely comment on queries posted here. You would have noticed this in the message upon registration.

Therefore, no one here knows or can specifically say when the next update is coming (and you haven't clearly stated your model device, your profile states 8330). Different 7.1 models (9930, 9900, 9850, 9360) are updated at different times and the updates released by the individual carriers once they have certified the upgrade and trained staff, etc.

For instance, several OS 7.1 models were updated a few weeks ago, but a couple models were not.

But yes, RIM will keep updating OS7 device for quite some time... but no one here knows when the next will be.
