BlackBerry Pearl 8100 issue

Hello,

I own a BlackBerry Pearl 8100 and a Sony VAIO VG-SZ4MN/B (OS: VISTA) with the Toshiba bluetooth stack which is not compatible with the Blackberry Desktop Software. Do you have any solution ?

The BlackBerry do connect in bluetooth with the Toshiba stack but the bluetooth options are still disabled (in gray) in the Desktop Software option menu.

Does a Blackberry Stack exist ?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

1) What are you trying to achieve with a Bluetooth connection?

2) This I believe only works with the Windows Btooth Stack...

Hi,

Thank you for your answer:

1) I would like to synchronize my Microsoft Outlook calendar elements, address book, etc... with my BB.

2) It is impossible to get the Bluetooth driver without installing the stack and it doesn't seems the drivers to be included in Windows.

Thks,

Fabien.

Re: BlackBerry Pearl 8100 issue

Install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.  (As BIS Setup)

Launch the Manager and Open the Synchronize App (Right)

Setup as required.

Cable Device and Sync...

Hi,

Thank you again for your response,

Do you have any idea ?

Thank you,

Re: BlackBerry Pearl 8100 issue

You will have to source the Microsoft stack for Bluetooth...

However the Device and notebook have to be in range for this, so the cable will make no real difference and will need the Desktop Manager regardless.

Keep in mind aswell that Bluetooth on BB is limited due to inherent security issues with Bluetooth.
