BlackBerry Protect

Hi All, new to this forum so forgive me if I'm in the wrong place.

I have an interesting issue with BB Protect. I can access all of the usual functions via the BB protect website from my desktop PC, but if I try to access via my laptop the buttons for location, play a sound etc don't take me anywhere.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

Thanks,

Mike Jones

Re: BlackBerry Protect

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

That is a very odd situation. Please compare the detailed specs of both computers -- make, model, Windows OS version and update levels, Browser version, etc. Something is odd with your laptop, and I can only suspect that some difference, from among those comparisons, is the root cause.

Good luck and let us know!

Re: BlackBerry Protect

Thanks for the response; yes it was odd. But for some reason it has now resolved itself. I have no explanation for this! Next time I tried it just worked, so maybe it was awaiting a windows update or something which only was implemented after a reboot?

Thanks again.

Re: BlackBerry Protect

There are many possibilities. To investigate your theory, you'd have to look into the recent updates and when they were installed. But, it may also just be moot and just as well to continue on now that it's working fine.

Cheers!
