BlackBerry Storm 9500 Version 1 - Awful phone!!

I have had my BB Storm for 12 months now and I am half way through a 24 month contract with Vodafone UK and I have to say I can't wait for it to end! I have even considered getting a new contract with a HTC HD2 [ I've got as far as ordering the phone and I am waiting for it to be delivered] -  and never using the storm again.

I'm so sick of (1) The lack of speed (2) No Wifi coverage (this was obviously missed off in an effort to rush the phone out (3) Facebook taking ages to open up - especially viewing photos (4) The lack of new applications available to BB users compared to iPhone users -  **What is BB doing to ensure this improves?


Is the Storm9520 any better..... ?

Steve, for the 9500 device, two questions:


What is your File Free at Options > Status?


What OS release is on the device?
Look at Options > About, third line down beginning with a "v.4.xxx"
