Click on it (on SOS) and switch ON Mobile Network
if not work - it can mean that your SIM number is suspend by carrier, call to carrier support
and last one - may mean that it's locked to other carrier

i am new here. i have bb 9800 torch and have same sos problem. i check no locked and also update it and i try to select manualy network but all useless...please help me
