BlackBerry noob has some questions.

Hi there. I am entirely new to the Blackberry platform. I have been a long time Windows Mobile user and now I have made the switch. Once an expert with WM devices but now a complete noob with Blackberry. So please don't be too harsh on my noobness Smiley Wink. Anyways on to my issues...

1.) I wanted to sign into BB online so I can manage my email accounts from the computer opposed to on my device and it would not let me create a sign in id or sign in. Whenever I input my pin/imei number it says an account has been made already, but I have not made an account. The only thing I have done with my blackberry so far is set up my gmail account on my blackberry, but my gmail info does not seem to suffice for logging in to blackberry online.

2.) I have set up my gmail so that messages remain on my device for 15 days. After the 15 days are up will those messages be deleted from my email all together? or will it just be removed from my device but remain in my email account?

3.) Coming from WM platform I have grown accustomed to having my calendar displayed on my homescreen. I am assuming I would have to download a new theme for my blackberry, but I do not want the new theme to bog down the efficiency of my blackberry device. Will that be the case if I download a new theme or am I just being haunted by fears of slowdown that I experienced with the glitchy WM platform? any suggestions as to what theme?

You need to login on your BB device and create a username/pw there for the desktop login.

Just removed from your device.

It shouldn't. There are some bloated themes out there (mainly those with animated backgrounds).

For instance, here is one I am using now that I like a great deal, with upcoming calendar events and latest messages displayed on the home screen:
