Blackberry 8330 - SMS Text Messages

Does anyone know how I keep a number track of my SMS messages so I don't go over my limit???

There is not a 'counter', so to speak, on the BlackBerry. There could a third party application of which I am not aware.

Check under Options | Status. From in here, hit your menu button and choose Database Sizes. Scroll down to find a line that says "SMS Messages". The first number to the right of that will show the total present on the device


Just note that this isn't a "counter" as it just shows the total on the device. This number will change as you delete messages, or according the the Keep Messages setting (Messages | Options | General Options)


Depending on your carrier you may be able to find your total on their website or by calling in on their customer support line.

I have AT&T and I can find out my total number my checking on the website
