Blackberry 8520 - 507

[ Edited ]

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, and to Blackberry.

I'm using a 8520 and last night I tried to update it to v.5, but it failed...

After it giving me "not connected error" I turn on the phone and receive a "Reload Software 507" error.

I have tried multiple things...

Left the battery out,

Wiped the deviced and tried again,

Used the loader with "/nojvm"

Tried different wires etc...

But when it comes to the loader, it will go all the way to "Waiting for deviced initialization" then the phone restarts,

the loading screen comes on, 5 seconds later the screen "Reload Software 507" pops back up, the loader shows the error "J:0x00000024" or "J:0x0000000A"

Also, the phone is unbranded and was running 4.6.

Appreciate any advice you can give me.
