If you want to clear the data of your Blackberry, you can try going to "Options" --> "Security Options" --> "Security Wipe".
It will clear or "wipe" all the data of your phone. And by the way, what I have is a Blackberry Curve 8520 and I'm not sure about other models.
Hope this helps.

Security wipe is found by pressing the blackberry button, then pressing the trackerball when the spanner (options) is highlighted, then again when you have security options highlighted then you will see 5 options - security wipe is the bottom one.

Please see your Carrier Support. call barring is activated on your SIM not the device

Hi Thank you for replying, it's greatly appreciated but I don't have any issue with my sim card since it's not blocked. I forgot my calling barring password which I personally set but unfortunately I have forgotten the encryption. I was wondering how to reset it to default. Thanks in advance. Have a good one.
