Blackberry 9790 Problems

Just received a 9790 device via work. It's meant to be a business device so I would have expected a higher level of performance but the battery life is very poor - I only get 3 hours out of the device. I only use it for phone and email (enterprise) and never browse the web.


Touch screen is driving me crazy - I'm constantly ringing people by mistake, turning the network settings off and when I'm using the phone, I end up calling people from my contacts. On several occasions, I have called the person I'm already talking too!!  


Is anyone else experiencing these problems? I had a Curve 9300 prior to this which was great.

Welcome to the forums and sorry to hear about your issues. 


In this case we can try to reload the software on the BlackBerry® smartphone to make sure it is running the latest version and there are no issues with the OS.

Once you have backed up your BlackBerry smartphone please follow the link below to complete a clean reload of the BlackBerry smartphone software.
