Please specify the exact error message..."rejecting" is not likely what it states, and the exact error message is critical to understanding your situation, and thereby providing useful guidance.
Given what you describe, it is possible that your SIM is damaged...you did not say if you tried it in other devices, only that you tried other SIM cards in your device. If the SIM is damaged, then replacement would be necessary.
