I have a BB9900 which is around 6 months old. The keys are "sticking" in that it now requires the pressing of certain keys numerous times in order to get the character to display on the screen. This is really irritating as it slows down my texting substantially along with any emails I might be preparing let alone the mis-spelling of words caused by this annoying issue. Does anyone have a fix other than demand a replacement handset from my teleco?

Try the following -
When you device is POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery. This make a reboot to your device which resolves minor issues with the BlackBerry device.
If doing above doesn't resolve the issue then you may consider updating/reinstalling device OS. But if your still under warranty then you better calim that asap.
