Re: Blackberry Bold 9700 Email setup problem

It is frustrating.   I am not sure why there is no patch released yet.   However, I did find a post yesterday that resolved my mail setup issue on the OS6.

Go to mobile.blackberry.com

Scroll down until you see "Communications"   Then click "Email"

Scroll until you see your email provider or select other.

In my case I use GMAIL so I selected "Integrate Now" under the GMail heading.

This set my mail to work on the OS6.  It also pushed the GMAIL Mail Icon onto the unit.

This will work for now until BB sends out a patch.

Good luck

Re: Blackberry Bold 9700 Email setup problem

From mobile.blackberry.com I have added my gmail, it shows that "An icon to access your email will be added to your device home screen" but there is no icon as such, when i click on the message icon following message pops up

"No message services configured. You will be redirected to the setup wizard to setup your email account"

I follwed these steps almost ten times but no use.

Any one can help??

Re: Blackberry Bold 9700 Email setup problem

@sunnyday - check that your icons from the blackberry menu is not on hide. I.e the 'Hide' item is not ticked from d drop window when you click the blackberry icon from menu. Cos dis procedure is tested & worked for most people.
