Re: Blackberry Bold 9900 Headphone-Jack Problem.

Certainly. Follow the included instruction to disable TTY support. If unsuccesful, connect to desktop manager and conpletely remove from the applications folder. Unless of course you suffer with hearing impairment and require the use off TTY?

Re: Blackberry Bold 9900 Headphone-Jack Problem.

You have to get a rma and send it to BB, they will repair it for you. Unfortunately everything gets deleted, so make a backup before sending.

Re: Blackberry Bold 9900 Headphone-Jack Problem.

On the home screen, go to the SEND key and then hit the MENU key. Select Options and go to TTY mode and turn "off". RMA processes are different in different countries. In th UK we have to go through our contracted network provider as RIM only deal with vendors here. Hope this helps, Good Luck!!!

Re: Blackberry Bold 9900 Headphone-Jack Problem.

I struggled with this on my 9790 and turning these features off alone did not work, I have to connect to the desktop software and completely remove the from the applications list and doing a battery pull after completion. Sorry it's a little long winded, but defo worth trying before sending it away.
