Blackberry Bold & CLS550 phone book

I can't seem to get my phonebook uploaded to my bluetooth in the car, regardless of the amount of contacts I have... Anyone found a fix for this?

What bluetooth puck do you have?

This one:

or this one?:

or is it the MHI version which looks similar to the one just above?

I have found that in SAP mode (2nd URL) contacts do not transfer on Nokia's or on the Bold UNLESS they are SIM contacts. If you are using the first URL, the HFP module, contacts will transfer.

That is all well and good, but if you have hundreds of contacts it can take an age before you can access them via Comand. Also, HFP is not as good as SAP as the HFP module continues to use the phones aerial.

There basically is no 100% solution from this. You have a couple of alternatives. You can bluetooth the contacts over to the MB system, this works quite well, or you can just copy your essential contacts to the SIM and these will go over to Comand quite quickly, under 30 seconds normally.

Even with the address book limitations of SAP I prefer the SAP module as the reception is at least 50% better than using the mobile phones aerial.
