Blackberry Bold renames all my picture folders to "Device Memory"

Hi all,

I've searched for this solution, but other than finding one other person who has the same problem, I have found no solution.

For some reason, in the pictures section of the Media, my folder names in Device memory will all change to "Device Memory" if no pictures are outside of the folders. When I check it in Properties, I can see the actual name of the folder, but in the folder list is displays as "Device Memory. I have five folders, all called Device Memory. If I add one picture to device memory, as opposed to the media card, then I will see the actual folder names in the folder list.  If I move the picture into one of the folders, then they a;ll revert to the name Device Mamory.

Anybody know what is causing this?

It's a fairly new Bold, v4.6.0.162 (platform

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

You would be better off using the media card to save media files, and not use the device memory for "storage"

Open the camera, options, select store pictures on media card.
