Blackberry Curve Email

I have a gmail account set-up and everytime I respond to an email sent or send an email, I always get a copy sent to my Blackberry. Does anyone know how to shut this feature off? A little annoying!

Re: Blackberry Curve Email

You have to login to your BlackBerry internet service account and create an email filter. Set the filter that when a message is received FROM your own GMAIL account to not forward to device. This happens because of the way the Gmail inbox works and the filter will address it.

Re: Blackberry Curve Email

Its not a feature, its GMail Smiley Wink

GMail treats it's Inbox and Sent folder as one overall "Folder" so when you send an item, the BlackBerry reads it as a new email, and thus a new message appears on your device.    To fix this, you need to setup a filter in your BIS account to stop the service from forwarding email from You.

Re: Blackberry Curve Email

That's a function of gmail, not the bb as I understand it.
