Blackberry Desktop 6.0 Bundle 3049 won't complete Sync

I have a Blackberry 9330 and it was working great - I downloaded and updated the Desktop software to version 6.0 Bundle 3049, now I can't sync,it appears to go through the motions of synchronizing but the software gets to a point where it just says "Preparing Sync Preview" with a message saying its "Progressing"  I've left this running for more than a half hour at times thinking it was just taking a long time but it does actually sync or get to a "Preview" window?

 I'm using Windows 7 with Office 2007 and need my calendar and contacts to sync on a regular basis, this sucks. Does anyone have any experience with this problem?

I have a similar issue, I downloaded something to update and am having the same problem with "preparing synch preview" stuck on "progressing" which obviously isn't true! Windows 7 OS, Office 2003 or 4. Can anyone help?

Thanks - I back reved it to a previous version and it worked ok......
