In blackberry desktop software 6, when you click on the device menu, it lists all prevously connected devices.
Yesterday someone connected their device to my computer.
How can i delete that device listing from the list.

I had the same concern, which I posted elsewhere.... Still standing by for a response, but I believe that an update will be necesarry to include this and other "missing" functionalities from DM 5.0.1.

I think I figured out how to delete previously connected devices...
It's not pretty, but it worked...
1. Exit the Desktop Manager.
2. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Application Data\Research in Motion\Devices
3. Find the folder with the PIN number of the device(s) you want to delete.
4. Delete the folder(s).
5. Launch the Desktop Manager again, the devices will be gone.
Let me know how that works out...

It works, but there definetely needs to be a way of doing this through desktop manager itself. Hopefully this feature will be included in the next update.

I found that the folder "My Documents\BlackBerry\Backup" contains the backup files in the format: name_of_device_in_bb_desktop.pid.
I just deleted the one file that I did not need.
