Hi, I have forgotten the pass word for the Blackberry ID Username and although I have followed the instruction to change this password without the use of the recovery question I am unable to do this. I have gone on to the Blackberryid page on the computer and followed the instruction it still asks for the recovery question. Please tell me how to reset my password. My PIN number and IMEI number is as follows:

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Start first with these please:
If you have forgotten your BB ID credentials AND have non-BB access (e.g., Outlook, webmail, etc.) to the email account that is currently configured to your BB ID account, then those instructions should allow you to recover access to your BB ID account.
However, if you do not have access to that email account, then your challenge is much greater, and you have a choice to make depending on your circumstances:

Oh? Are you sure you read everything carefully and completely? For, within KB26361, there is a section that does not require the recovery question (unless the account has not been confirmed). And there is also the second section of my post above, which also does not require the recovery question. So, I must recommend that you re-read all of the above carefully so as to find the component that meets your requirements...
Note carefully that, from your first post above, I could not tell exactly what process you were following...you mentioned some things, but I could not correlate what you said to any of the specific processes available. Hence, I provided them all to you in the hopes that you could find what you require, since I could not tell for sure from your first post.
Good luck and let us know!

Is it possible to just simply set up a new one?
Yes...by following item 2 of the second half of my earlier post above...

Oops...I think I mis-typed my answer one post above...rather than item 2, it should be item 1. To actually change the BB ID with which your BB is associated, you must WIPE your BB...please re-read item 1 in the second half of post 2 above, including the KB it links to.
Is there anyone I can call to help?..
Formal support is available from your mobile service provider, who can escalate your case up to BlackBerry if necessary.
