my torch 9810 is now stuck at Blackberry ID login and not allowing me to do anything else.
the blackberry ID is registered to my old email address provided by my previous service provider - firstname.lastname@example.org
when i moved to a new provider, the old email address was deactivated.
when i tried putting in the password for email@example.com, it saying im putting wrong details.
when i tried to do "forget password", it doesnt recognise firstname.lastname@example.org.
i created new blackberry ID with new email address - email@example.com
but when i tried to login using firstname.lastname@example.org, it just increased the incorrect attempt count from 6/10 to 7/10!
tried connecting my phone to BB desktop software, but it wouldnt recognise it. cant backup.
cant afford to lose my data that's saved in the handheld.
your help is much appreciated.

One of the following KB articles should help you troubleshoot any connectivity issues between your BlackBerry Torch 9810 smartphone and the BlackBerry Desktop Software so you can complete a backup.

Once you have completed the backup of your data, you will need to complete a security wipe in order to change the BlackBerry ID you are using. For more information, please see: "How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet or BlackBerry smartphone" http://bbry.lv/L0U5QX
