Blackberry ID not working

We have two phones. The one was my old phone and is now my husbands. I cannot get his BB ID to work on his phone. When I go into BBM it keeps asking to change my info to the device (switch device). I have created a BB ID for him but it won't work (it used to). When I go on my phone it wants to change my info to his BB ID profile and visa versa. How do I delete a Blackberry ID in totality and start over? His phone is the Bold 9780 and mine is the Torch 9800.

In order to change the BlackBerry ID used on the BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone, a security wipe will need to be performed. This KB article should provide more information. "How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet or BlackBerry smartphone" http://bbry.lv/L0U5QX
