Blackberry ID reset

Hi there,

I have a problem. Yesterday, (12 Dec 2012), I updated my BBm to the newest version, but, to be able to use it, i need my Blackberry ID. The email addres has expired since then, and the password recovery question is about as useful as the email addres. I have made another ID, but how can i 'sign into it' so that it's compatible on my smartphone(BB Curve 9300)? My mobile service provider is Vodacom Mobile,(South Africa). ANY help or advice please? I'm kind of desperate.

Welcome aboard to BlackBerry support community forums. If you would like to change the existing BB ID then you need to have a security wipe to your device. Make sure to have back up of device data before attempting a security wipe.
