when i spoke to O2 yesterday they told me to contact blackberry as they dont deal with this kind of problem

Right. And only O2 can put you in touch with BlackBerry Support. Call then back and insist they escalate your issue to them.

thank you so much for your help. i contacted O2 and they connected my BBID but due to not knowing my password/ secret word answer they were unable to reset it. i now have a new email address and have a working BBM and app world. once again thanks for your help
