Blackberry Messenger.

My mobile carrier in the US is ATT. I will be in the Dominican Republic for 2-weeks later this month and wish to know that if I were to use my Blackberry Messenger to send a message (without signinging up with a local mobile carrier) would I incurr roaming charges billed to me by ATT? My Blackberry phone works internationally, so availing of a network connection is not an issue. Thanks in advance for any reply.

Re: Blackberry Messenger.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

As an ATT customer, all of your billing is handled by them...you need to ring them up and ask them this question. In general, if you use WiFi to do this, then you should not be billed by your carrier...but, one never knows what clever tricks they may come up with to increase their bottom lines!

Good luck!
