Blackberry SOS-HELP!!!

I have no idea what's going on with my phone...for whatever reason, my phone is saying I can only make emergency calls, in an area where I always have coverage: my home.  Does anyone know why this is happening?  I have already tried a hard and soft reboot, tried taking the sim card out and locking it back into place, and again making sure it's in place....

Re: Blackberry SOS-HELP!!!

The SOS sign means :
  • your area is covered by at least one phone carrier
  • the area is not covered by our carrier
  • your carrier has not signed a roaming agreement with the carrier of point 1) or your SIM card has a subscription problem with your carrier
  • the only phone call you can make is 911 (supersedes the lack of roaming agreement)
