Blackberry Storm: cannot pair to 2006 Volvo XC 90 Hands Free Device...Help!

I cannot pair my new Storm to my 2006 Volvo XC 90 Hands Free Device.  (My Blackberry Pearl, my last phone, paired with no problem.) When I activate my Volvo Hands Free device and select "pair phone" option, I then activate my Storm by going into the "Setup" application, and pressing "Set Up Bluetooth" and then "Add Device," then pressing "Search."  The Storm does quickly find the Volvo Hands Free, but then the Hands Free cannot find the Storm.  I have made the Storm "discoverable" and I have alternately tried pushing "Listen" on my Storm, instead of "Search."  No luck after maybe 20 tries.  Can you tell me if I can get the Storm to pair with my Hands Free device and what I need to do to make that happen?
