Blackberry is working fine for e-mails and browser, but when I sent SMS it just stays in my inbox with a red X. When I try to change my "SMS" options to not give me delivery reports, it says "Invalid Service Centre Specified". Not sure if this is related but I've been looking online and can't seem to solve it, any help appreciated.

First try to re-boot the device. If that does not work....go to:
>host routing tables
If that does not work.....try this:
>login if necessary
>send service books
Hopefully one of these will fix your txt msg problem.

When you click on email settings:
if you log right in ....
hit the menu key, in the pop up menu you should see....
send service books.

I finally fixed my sms issue.
I bought an outright Blackberry Storm and could receive sms but not send.
I kept noticing the voicemail number preset in the phone, and I know if I miss a call I get an sms if I have voicemail.
Not sure why but when I updated the voicemail number in my Storm and replaced it with my carriers voicemail number, within a few minutes it was working.
Not sure if the voicemail number is the cause of everyone's issue, but worth trying.
