Blackberry Torch 9800 Problems

Recently I switched to Torch 9800 from my Bold 9700. Battery performance is very poor even it drain out half the day with only 5-6 calls. I tried to run on 2G, closed GPS and Wifi but still the same problem. Also response time is not good. Any solution?

Re: Blackberry Torch 9800 Problems

did you use device switcher in desktop manager? if yes and you moed your apps over, then maybe there is a  app that does not work on OS 6 yet.

Older apps transfered to the device with Device switcher can cause issue if not compatable with OS 6. On device go to Options, Device, Application Management is a great way to see what your apps are doing with your CPU usage on #Torch. Just slide top bar to CPU and see what is going on. Also touch the CPU menu to see other time variables. I found out that an app was eating away CPU cycles on mine

Re: Blackberry Torch 9800 Problems

There is a thread on this problem. Mine started doing this. You need to security wipe the BB then reinstall a recent backup. This sorted mine out !
