Blackberry Torch 9810 restore backup of dead 9800

I have a new 9810 and have the old backups for the 9800. A great deal of information. I did find a way to look at some of the info in the backup but would like to some how just use the backup .ipd file to dump into the new machine. Typing in the whole thing is really a pain.

Re: Blackberry Torch 9810 restore backup of dead 9800

The easiest and quickest way will always be to use the Transfer Device Wizard in BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Is there any reason you can't do it that way?

Cheers.  Smiley Happy

Unfortunately you need to have a working old unit to do the transfer. I only have the file.
