Re: Blackberry Torch 9860

Hi. Thanks for the help but I use a 9860 and there are only 5 keys on it, none of which is an escape key as far as I know. The phone is a touch screen so I'm helpless.

Re: Blackberry Torch 9860

Thank you. I honestly appreciate your help. It didn't work still. The phone starts to boot rapidly only to freeze 3/4 of the way. Took it to an engineer and he couldn't said he couldn't fix it either. Can't take it back to the store where I bought it from cos I'm not in my home country. Guess I'll have to let it go and embrace the fact that I don't have a BB anymore.

Re: Blackberry Torch 9860

Are you able to depress and hold the escape key as directed in the KB?

Re: Blackberry Torch 9860

Dear Mr. JSanders

Need your help. My 9860 (7.0) is freezing again and getting worst. At 3/4 loading bar, it became white screen then. It happened since I tried to reload the OS using BBSAK. Seems I choose wrong menu. Using Apploader stacked at the white screen l, same as using BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Update through web can't either.

I hope still able to use my 9860. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Regards.

Re: Blackberry Torch 9860

arthuryhs72, I would use BBSAK again to wipe back to seeing error 507 on screen, and then reload the OS on the device again using either BBSAK or loader.exe

Re: Blackberry Torch 9860

Uuhh.. Unfortunately my BSAK doesn't want to make relationship with my 9860. Tried since yesterday but still can't detected my phone, while BlackBerry Desktop Manager and Apploader did detected it.

Already uninstall and reinstall BBSAK, even restore my computer system, modify compatibility program of BBSAK, and trick in windows task manager to avoid conflict between BBDM and BBSAK but still failed.

Is it because of BlackBerry Desktop Manager version 7.1 issue? BBSAK detected my device once when I used version 7.0 (I'm not trying this one yet).

A help will greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
