Please can anyone advise I got the Blackberry Torch yesterday have never had a blackberry before the problem is when I press the trackpad it makes a lould metal clicky sound that you can here even if you do not full press the button is this normal for a blackberry or is there a problem with the handset, I know it is not a major problem but it is just a bit annoying as all the other function buttons are silent please can anyone help as if it is a problem I want to get it replaced for another one before my 7 days are up

This is happening because the audible trackpad roll is enabled. To change this follow steps -
go to Options > Typing and Input > Trackpad Sensitivity > Audible Toll: un-check.
If your query is resolved then please click on “Accept as Solution”
Click on the LIKE on the bottom right if the post deserves credit

That setting will control the scrolling click sound, but not for pressing the trackpad.
If it is that loud, I would advise you look back at your local retailer seller and check other Torches and if they do not make the audible click loudly as you describe, you do have a faulty device.
