I've had my Curve 8520 since August, it was working fine up until about September. Ever since, my trackpad has been playing up and I could only use it while I pushed the back of my phone in, otherwise it would move down only. The other day I did a battery pull on my phone as I had deleted a few apps to see if this was causing the problem and ever since my trackpad won't move, even with the back pushed in. It will only let me click/select. I have tightened the little black screw in the back of my phone to see if this would work, but this didn't help. I have just done a software update too and this hasn't helped either. Any ideas?
I would appreciate if someone could help ASAP. Thanks.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Try to back up and complete a clean reload of the device software and test the trackpad before restoring the backup http://t.co/FOZ8LhX. If the issue persists you should contact your network service provider for exchange/repair options.

Thanks. I did both of them and no changes... I was wondering, what if I buy a new trackpad and install it myself? Would that help?
I've never had to replace a trackpad, but I've read of many who've done just that with success.
IF the device is still in warranty, ask your seller about a replacement.
