Blackberry Used in the Carribean

Can the Bold be charged using 220V by just using the appropraite plug adapter or is a converter required? We use 110v in the US.

Re: Blackberry Used in the Carribean

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

You need to check the actual charger that you will use...it should be noted on it the voltages that it can accept. You also need to check the prong configuration...you may need a prong adapter. Normally, BBs can accept both 110v and 220v, but it all depends on the actual charger you will use.

Good luck!

Re: Blackberry Used in the Carribean

Agreed with Sdgardne, and if you are using the OEM BlackBerry Charger with the appropriate plug on the charger, yes, you can use the 220v outletl
