Blackberry World, will not show that I am connected

Hi, please could someone help with this problem.  When I connect to Blackberry World, it shows me that I have the app for my browser, but it shows a system check and waits for me to connect my device to the computer.  The blackberry PC suite shows I am connected but not Blackberry World.  How do I get Blackberry World to recognise that I am connected

Thanks for the question. Can you please provide some additional information to better assist with your issue?

 

1. Please provide the following software versions from your BlackBerry Curve 8520:

A: Operating System Version: Options->About (include entire 3rd line)

B: Version of BlackBerry World: Options->Applications->Change drop down to "Add On"

 

2. Are you connected to WiFi or your mobile network?

3. Can you open the browser and navigate to web pages successfully?
