Blackberry bold 9900 freezing

I got my bold 9900 two days ago and I've realised that the battery life is much shorter than the way it was on my 9700. More important, it randomly freezes and nothing works, not the screen (touch) and not the trackpad. When that happened I pulled the battery and that didn't help. I tried doing that 3 times until it finally worked. I'm quite upset about this and I would like to know if there's anything I should do to avoid this from happening?

Same issue.  The device randomly froze with a black screen and coud not be woken.  Had to pull the battery.  The device froze while rebooting twice, and each time I had to pull the battery.  On the third try it rebooted successfully.  Seems to be working fine now.

I got the freezing fixed. It was corrupt files on my phone that caused it. I had to do a system reload amd it's fine now. I restored only my contacts etc.. No games I'll wait till there compatable with. OS7

Re: Blackberry bold 9900 freezing

im having same issue

every time i wake the device (after i take it out of the holster, or press a button when screen is blank) it takes 5-10 seconds for it to start working, untill then its frozen,  also battery life is worse then my 9780

also when the device reboots it gets stuck at one place sometimes, i need to do a battery pull a few times

using an unlocked rogers 9900 on the AT&T network
