Blackberry curve 9300

Last night, I turned my phone off, fully charged. Yet when I woke up I was unable to turn on my phone, a red light turns on briefly then a battery sign with a cross goin through it comes up. Ive tried charging it but it remains like this.

Can anyone help?

Re: Blackberry curve 9300

Try removing the battery, connecting it to the wall charger then insert the battery.

If this doesn't work you could have a battery problem.

I don't think a software reload will help here because it won't turn on.

Can you also check with the carrier?

I've included the links just in case:

Re: Blackberry curve 9300

Battery problem where it suddenly says empty battery after a couple of hours MAX without any warning and shuts off for good unless it can be re-charged again. It then says the battery is full after maybe only about 10mins charging. Does this with replacement battery too.
