Every time I connect my device to my PC and open the desktop software it request I enter my device password to continue and everytime I do it says its wrong and takes an attempt off me even though my password isn't wrong,
the only way round this so far is to disable my password on my device before I connect to desktop manager but I shouldn't have to do this any ideas please ?

This KB article should help with having the BlackBerry® Desktop Software accept your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9900 smartphone password. "BlackBerry Desktop Manager or the BlackBerry smartphone does not accept the correct BlackBerry smartphone password" http://bbry.lv/KOgktf
