Hi. After install of Blackberry desktop software has successfully completed,it will not open, a message from windows tells me that desktop software has stopped working(Rim server set up has stopped working) do you have any ideas how to resolve.

Can you please verify that you are installing the BlackBerry® Desktop Software in a Windows® user account with administrative privileges? This KB article should provide more information.
